Project and Data Export

Open Share → Export to… to choose an export format.

Equipment list (CSV)

Export projectors, cameras, and screens as a CSV file for use in procurement spreadsheets, budgeting tools, or project management software.

Exporting

  1. Open Share → Export to….
  2. Choose Equipment List (.csv).
  3. The file downloads immediately.

CSV columns

Column Description
Type Projector, camera, or screen type
Name Object name as set in the Scene panel
Manufacturer / Model Library information when available
Position X / Y / Z Object position
Brightness Projector light output when available
Resolution Projector or camera resolution
Technology Projector technology, camera type, or screen type
Notes Additional exported details

Project data (JSON)

Export the full project as a JSON file for backup, version control, or handoff to a colleague.

Exporting

  1. Open Share → Export to….
  2. Choose Experience Designer Project (.json).
  3. The complete project file downloads to your device.

This file contains the scene and its project settings. To restore it, open Import from… in the user menu and choose Experience Designer Project (.json).


3D geometry (OBJ)

Export visible scene geometry as a Wavefront OBJ file for use in 3D rendering tools, CAD software, or BIM workflows.

Exporting

  1. Open Share → Export to….
  2. Choose whether to include screens, cameras, and projector frustums.
  3. Choose Scene Geometry (.obj).

The export downloads a single OBJ file containing visible scene geometry. Projector frustums are included only when their export option is selected. Analysis overlays and materials are not included.

Design Exchange format

Choose Design Exchange format (.json) to transfer supported projectors, cameras, and screen data to another planning tool. See Design Exchange Format for limitations.
