The Workspace

The Experience Designer workspace is a browser-based 3D environment. Everything needed to plan, analyse, and document a projection setup is accessible from a single window.

Toolbar

Contains actions for adding objects, toggling analysis modes, exporting, and saving.

Scene Panel (left)

Lists every object in your scene โ€” projectors, screens, trusses, LED walls, cameras, and scene objects. Click an item to select it. Right-click for context menu options (duplicate, delete, group).

3D Viewport (centre)

The main interactive 3D canvas. Navigate using the mouse or keyboard shortcuts.

Properties Panel (right)

Shows editable properties for the currently selected object (position, rotation, lens settings, specs, and so on).

Status Bar (bottom)

Displays cursor position, hovered surface metrics, and save/sync status.

View modes

Switch between view modes using the toolbar or keyboard shortcuts:

Mode Shortcut Description
Perspective 1 Default 3D perspective view
Top 2 Overhead plan view
Front 3 Front elevation
Side 4 Side elevation

Selecting objects

  • Click an object in the viewport or scene panel to select it.
  • Shift-click to add to selection.
  • Ctrl/Cmd + A to select all.
  • Right-click an object for contextual actions.

Saving

Projects save automatically. The status bar shows the last-saved timestamp. You can also force a save with Ctrl/Cmd + S.
