LED Walls
LED walls are panel-based displays with configurable panel size, resolution, pixel pitch, layout, and curvature.
Adding an LED wall
- Choose Add → Add LED.
- In LED Wall Designer, choose whether you know the pixel pitch or the panel dimensions.
- Enter the panel resolution, panel size or pixel pitch, and the number of columns and rows.
- Set Angle Per Panel if the wall is curved, then choose Create LED Wall.
- Position the wall in the scene.
LED wall properties
| Property | Description |
|---|---|
| Panel resolution | Horizontal and vertical pixels in each panel |
| Panel width / height | Physical size of one panel in millimetres |
| Pixel pitch | Distance between pixels in millimetres |
| Columns / rows | Number of panels across and down |
| Angle per panel | Horizontal angle between neighbouring panels; 0 creates a flat wall |
| Total size / resolution / arc | Automatically calculated wall totals |
| Position (X, Y, Z) | World-space position |
| Rotation | Orientation in degrees |
Resolution
The total pixel resolution is calculated from the panel resolution and layout:
total width = panel resolution X × columns
total height = panel resolution Y × rows
This figure is displayed in the properties panel for reference.
Analysing an LED wall
Use LED Content Resolution to check the required content canvas, panel layout, and pixel count. Use LED Pixel Distance with an eyepoint to compare viewing distance across the wall.
See Analysis for step-by-step guidance and the other available checks.
Curvature
Set Angle Per Panel to curve the wall horizontally. Positive and negative values curve it in opposite directions; use the live total-arc value to check the result.
