Quick Start

This guide walks you through creating and analysing a basic single-projector scene from scratch. It should take about five minutes.

1. Create a new project

  1. Sign in and open your Projects dashboard.
  2. Click New Project.
  3. Give it a name and click Create.

The 3D workspace opens with an empty scene.

2. Add a screen

  1. In the left panel click Add Screen.
  2. Choose Flat and set a width and height (e.g. 4 m ร— 3 m).
  3. The screen appears in the centre of the scene. Use the transform handles or the property panel on the right to position it.

3. Add a projector

  1. Click Add Projector.
  2. In the Model dropdown, pick a projector from the library (e.g. search "Panasonic").
  3. Move the projector to a position in front of the screen using the 3D handles or by typing coordinates in the properties panel.

4. Run analysis

  1. Click the Analysis button in the toolbar (or press A).
  2. The viewport overlays a photometric heatmap on the screen, showing illuminance in lux.
  3. Hover any surface point to see pixel density and coverage data in the status bar.

5. Export or share

  • PDF report โ€” click Export โ†’ PDF Report to download a formatted document with specs and screenshots.
  • Share link โ€” click Share to generate a public interactive 3D link.
