2D Schematic View

The 2D Schematic View provides a top-down network diagram of your scene. It complements the 3D workspace by giving you a flattened, printable layout suitable for rack diagrams, signal-path documentation, and venue floor plans.

Switching to the 2D view

Click the 2D View button in the toolbar (or press Shift + 2). The 3D viewport is replaced by the 2D canvas. Click 3D View (or press Shift + 2 again) to return.

Adding a media server

While in 2D view, click Add Server in the schematic toolbar to add a media server block. You can label it and draw signal-path connections to displays.

Exporting the schematic

Click Export PNG in the schematic toolbar to save the current view as a PNG image. The exported image uses the current zoom level and pan position.

Note: The 2D schematic is a documentation view. Object positions in the schematic reflect the 3D scene layout but are rendered as 2D icons โ€” modifying positions in 3D updates the schematic automatically.
